^Both kids could have been correct and wagered it all and still lost. Neither kid could catch his two day winnings total which was the basis for winning the $75,000.

^^ actually, if you do the math. The second kid had a 1st day total of 19000, he had 14400 on the second day and wagered 7000. If he got it correct he would have had a 40,400 total and would have won by 400. He wagered enough just got it wrong
