Yesterday I did a 6.2 mile run and spent 2 hours at the gymnastics gym

Today I'm going on a 4.7 mile run and moving out of my apartment.

i did legs yesterday, hit them pretty hard, and even though i wasn't necessarily sore or weak- i just felt..... exhausted.

so today and maybe even tomorrow, im resting.

went to the gym by myself today....felt tired and not into lifting, just did what i could

Warmup: Treadmill: 15min 200 cals

Incline Bench: 3x6x95, 105, 105

Bench: 5x6x135, 155, 165, 175, 185

Dumbbell Presses: 3x6x55, 60, 70(2)

Fixed Decline: 3x10x 140, 160, 180

Calf Extensions: 4x15x190, 210, 230, 250

Single Arm Tricep Pulldowns: 3x10x15, 17.5, 20 each arm

Seated Flies: 3x8x175, 195, 115(slowly)

Abs:
3x10xunassisted situps w/12lb medicine ball
3x15xreach for the sky crunches w/12lb medicine ball
3x20 bicycle crunches


I could have done more.....meh.

went to lake johnson to run...picked the WORST day to get back into running! i made it about 1/2 way before having to stop, but that did include the hills so i was pretty happy. should have seen my shirt. i went from about 1:45-2:20. my entire shirt was wet

is it worth it? i always feel super awake after running so i figure itd probably be nice to do..and i live literally 2-3 minutes from the gym so getting up at 530 i could probably get 30 mins in

just hard to get started

Did 3x20 weighted lunges with 50lbs the other day and I'm still sore as hell. It could be because I did 30 minutes of cardio before lifting that day, but I think I'ma stick to BWT lunges or orbital lunges with a 25 lb plate until I cut some more weight.

ScHpEnXeL, yeah it is worth it. Especially if you run outside, it is a lot cooler. It took me a awhile to start too. I kept saying I was going to do and finally did about 2 weeks ago. One thing I started today was eating before I go run whereas before I would wake up stretch and go out running. Only thing about that is you should wait about 30 mins before running.

I went to Curves this morning...the first time I was able to go all summer....but I got plenty of walking, running, climbing, swimming, and many other things in all summer.

Now I'm officially in training for the Disney marathon and a 70-mile ride in the Tour de Cure. Training is about to get crazy!

Just did an additional 30 min of elliptical. Super excited about spin class. My favorite sadistic teacher is going to kick my bootay!

holy hell- i'm doing a little home workout, and i just found out i can't do one legged squats anymore- even when not holding any weight


i can't tell if it is because i haven't done them in so long and i simply don't have the coordination/correct supporting muscles or if I really have lost that much strength in my legs- but i don't think it is a question strength because I can still do step ups no problem...


well it looks like I have something to add to my daily morning routing
