Btw One More Time was fucking fanyastic if you like Daft Punk. Check them out if you get a chance in the future.

They only played 4 songs straight up (robot rock to open, prime time of your life, get lucky, and one more time) . They played for almost 1:45, most of it was their remixes of daft punk songs and their music. It was legit. Ill try and post a few videos when i get back home

I'm willing to bet the money's too good to say no, and the gigs are short and easy. As a bonus, they'll annihilate everyone else on the stage.

For those SP fans...last night's setlist below. Ended up sitting in section 2 and I thought it was the loudest concert I've been to at the downtown amphitheater and the sound mix was really good, especially the guitar mix. The show was great until the Oceania set, I just never got into that album.

Where Boys Fear to Tread
Zero
Starz (alternate version)
I of the Mourning
Space Oddity (David Bowie cover)
X.Y.U.
Disarm
Tonight Reprise > Tonight, Tonight
Oceania
Violet Rays
Quasar
The Chimera
One Diamond, One Heart
Pinwheels
The Celestials
Pale Horse
Ava Adore
Cherub Rock
Stand Inside Your Love
United States (alternate version)

Encore:
Bullet With Butterfly Wings
Today (the setlist on the soundboard said Porcelina but I guess they changed it during the show)

Very nice. I was quite tempted to go (hadn't seen them in years) but I didn't make it out.

I saw The Airborne Toxic Event at Cats Cradle Monday night. Was a really great show!

yah i thought it was actually really fucking good.

my girlfriend jumped up and down like a little kid during today... it's by far her favorite SP song and she was mad disappointed when I showed her that track list posted the other day.

sec 2 row h :x

We were probably section 2 row M area. We just snuck forward from the back of section 1 to some empty seats. I thought ole billy was into the show...lots of "classic" billy yelling/screaming like it was the 90s again. I was most impressed by how much he let Jeff on lead guitar rock some good solos/improvs

I saw Phil Cook and his Feat open for the Mountain Goats a couple Christmases ago at Kings, and Ienjoyed it, meant to listen to more of his music but never did. I'm not going to Haw River though.

That SP setlist actually looks good. I was pretty disappointed the last two times I saw them so I passed on this one.

no shit.

it takes a really solid show these days to get me to go to the Cradle (and, i never go to any shows in Derm as it is), much less going all the way out to Haw River.

That was one pretty epic Titus Andronicus show. Started at 11:55, ended at 1:45. End sequence: Patrick stripped to his underwear, then they played "I Love Rock 'n' Roll," "No Sleep 'til Brooklyn" (with So So Glos), "I Wanna Be Sedated," and "To Have and to Have Not" by Billy Bragg. Then Patrick stood in the middle of the stage and burned a $20 bill.

According to someone on Facebook, they're giving refunds (mostly because they're forcing people who bought seated tickets to be in general admission sections, etc)

but I can't verify that, since the Ticketmaster help line only operates from 9 AM to 9 PM

plus I have lawn tickets anyway, and those general admission sections aren't covered

if they'd give me a refund, I'd take it
