You guys are getting trolled by the ECU guy. No way there are any UNC sponsored prostitution rings or murders. We're dealing with LOIC for what Black Santa did and rampant cheating by players in multiple sports.

Best we can hope for is loss of the 2008 NT by the basketball team (long shot). BD will get canned. AD will get canned. Football team will get hammered with loss of wins, scholorships, and post season/TV bans. Maybe other sports will lose wins for ineligable players. Roy will survive. No death penalty.

I just looked at the WRAL website. Did John Blake really rob a bank at a Wal Mart?

Speaking of the basketball program.

Davis has info on the basketball program.

This is Davis's leverage and why he still has a job.

The NCAA doesn't have this info.

Basically unc wants this to be over. Otherwise they could be forced to fire Davis. If davis is fired, the NCAA will magically gain info on the basketball program and if you think its hot in chapel hill now.....lol You better be buying popcorn by the truck loads.

State fans are going to have a great year.

However, if the NCAA doesn't find enough to get Davis fired, the SAGO probably will. In fact, I personally know people who are going to make sure that the SAGO has certain info that will lead to a bomb going off in chapel hill. The proof exists, I've seen it with my own eyes. UNC is done. Its just a matter of who finds what and when and how long.

So its only a matter of time for all the dominos to fall. Certain hands will not be played until they have to be played. First football, then davis, then the athletic department in general, then the basketball program, then Roy, then they play "Taps" and then we jump fires. Got it?

But don't take my word for it. Just sit back and watch. You're going to enjoy the ever living shit out of it.

I don't see Butch lasting more than 2 more games. The state investigation has what the NCAA does not...subpoena power.

what a load of crap. if that proof exists, and the state is already sitting on it, then what is keeping them from bringing it forward now regardless of what NCAA finds?

They don't have the info yet. They may not need it. We don't know the full spectrum of what Marvin Austin has disclosed.

However, the Austin interviews no doubt produced the Yahoo story. Got it?

Davis schoo-ing us on some double speak here. Wow

Quote :
"Davis met with reporters prior to Thursday afternoon’s practice and said recent revelations haven’t altered his job status.

“I expect to be the football coach here currently and into the future,” Davis said.

The fourth-year coach said none of the developments relayed in the story was a surprise and that he has already begun changing some of the program’s policies to avoid future missteps.

“There’s things that have come out during the course of this that we’ve all learned,” Davis said. “And I’ve learned a great deal, things that we need to do better, things as a head football coach that I’ve got to take a lot more responsibility for.”

One of the revelations in the Yahoo! Story was that Blake received several wire transfers of money from Wichard while he was on Davis’ staff. While not an NCAA violation in themselves, Baddour said the transfers were a source of concern for the school and led to Blake’s decision to leave.

The story also revealed that during a trip to California in 2009, Austin’s hotel bill was paid for by Wichard’s agency.

“I don’t think anything came to light, when talking to the administration, that wasn’t already known over the last couple weeks as part of the review,” Davis said.

Davis said he was unaware of the depth of Blake’s ties to agents and said the former assistant cleared the university’s background check.

“At the time, there was no cause for concern,” Davis said.

^^^I think the stuff coming out from that investigation (see YahooSports article), and possible other academic info has ramped up the speed of things the last couple of days. Local media is smelling blood in the water (see Caulton Tudor). We are clearly closer than 4 weeks ago. Baddour's acknowledgements yesterday, along with his and Butch's hapless damage control. Stuff is happening.

^^^No you're right and I didn't mean to be such a jerk.

When I mentioned 4 weeks ago, I was referring to the subpena power of the SAGO that the NCAA doesn't have.

Think about it. He obviously didn't have a print out of the bill that we've all seen for 4 weeks.

As soon as he got that peice of info, the story got big long fast strong legs.

Of course he was working on the story for 4 weeks, every sports reporter in the country has been working on this story for several weeks, thats a pretty general statement and doesn't in anyway negate my point. just sayin

Davis has the info on the basketball team. As long as davis has a job, he will not share this info. When he loses his job, which he will. I almost guarantee Davis is fired within 4 weeks. Then depending on how much money Davis is paid, we'll see if he spills the beans on the bball program.

See all the goons in chapel hill had this whole thing under control (remember, they even had a former unc football player on the NCAA investigation committee) until the State Attorney General's office got involved and schooped up Marvin Austin. See when unc distanced themselves from MA, they screwed up. Because then some state fans in high places pushed the SAGO into the picture and Marvin Austin is the thread thats going to rip this baby blue bean bag into a million peices.

Subpoena Butch and ask him how many track coaches he's killed over the years

Quote :
"f UNC is guilty, the NCAA should be highly motivated to make an example of the Tar Heels’ program. It hits too close to home for anything but a significant response. The NCAA simply can’t tolerate coaches as runners. They need to use this case to at least attempt to scare people straight.

Does that mean the so-called “Death Penalty?” No. Only one program, SMU football, has ever received that penalty. While its technically always on the table for the NCAA infractions committee, UNC is not a repeat offender, is said to be cooperating fully and may be able to place all blame on a single coach.

Significant sanctions, likely even harsher than applied to Southern California this year (30 lost scholarships, two-year bowl ban), would be called for though. UNC lacks the tradition and recruiting base of USC, which makes recovering from penalties difficult. So this could feel like a death penalty for the Tar Heels."

He's not the fucking coach of UNC, he's the coach of the football team (+- 80 "students").

I'll give HT that excuse, but not BMFD.

I understand how this is confusing. There are alot of parties involved.

All that matters is that unc is crumbling. You don't have to believe a thing i say, just read the news.

Its going to get alot worse for them.

ALOT WORSE.

From IC:
state fans can kiss my ***! Wanting to kick someone when they are down is wrong. How jealous and weak do you have to be to hope your rival gets into crap like this. I pulled for them when Jimmy V won the title because they were representing our state. I thought he got a raw deal. After reading packpride all of them can go to hell. My brother went to state and I'll tell him the same thing.

This guy believes that kicking someone when they're down is wrong, but thinks its perfectly ok to hope someone (specifically your own brother) burn in hell just for being a fan of a certain school. Is it just me, or does he seem a little bitter?

IMO the thing that best exemplifies the stupidity of the people associated with situation is not the tweets, self-uploaded pictures, or horrible attempt at a cover-up, rather, it's that these guys actually paid for porn.

From a friend's Facebook status:
Quote :
"The 1973 NCSU men’s basketball team was the only one in NCAA history to go undefeated and not win the National Championship. The reason why is simple — they were on probation that year and were not allowed to enter into post-season play." Yeah, your precious Wolfpack break the rules too. So STFU already about the investigation at UNC. Get a life."
