definitely definitely almost threw up in my mouth

i draw the line at squirrel. actually i probably draw the line before that, but ew. ew. ew.

no offense

and no i haven't tried it, but i'm still saying EW!

are they tough? seems like they'd be tough and not very juicy.

^ are they fried? i can't really tell by the pic.

yeah, i just cut it off the bone, season it, bread it with flour, and fry it. squirrel nuggets!

it's not tough unless you overcook it. it's got a slightly "gamey" or "wild" taste if you don't soak it, which i didn't do b/c i ate them a couple hours after shooting them.

i consider it practice for the apocalypse

Ginger-glazed mahi mahi, spicy roasted sweet potatoes, kale with shallots. Shrimp and veggies with homemade cocktail sauce and Bloody Mary dip as apps. Bananas foster or cherries jubilee as dessert. I forgot to check if we have brandy so not sure if the latter is possible.

which means it will probably be left overs ( = enchiladas or chicken parm)

broke in some new all clad pans tonight.... yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

cooked my most unhealthy meal in quite a while but good lord

blanched some fresh green beans, pan fried some bacon bits, then broke down fresh garlic and savory in the grease, tossed in the beans and the bacon bits, brought together.

pan fried a tbone in butter with fresh rosemary and sage, basting with the melted butter the whole time through the cooking

lurb
