Fair play to CR. They played very well in the first half.

A little unlucky for us in the 2nd to hit the post and then they hit that lucky long ball to spring the breakaway but I think getting a point from this game would have been a steal.

Tuesday should be interesting. No Cameron, Besler, and possibly Altidore. Mexico is desperate for a win.

How did Beasley get exposed? The only goal that could possibly be counted against him was the header from the corner and that would be pretty harsh. The second goal was shitty defending on the opposite side of the field and Costa Rica swarming the box. Third goal was mostly Besler with Howard not doing well either.

Replays consistently show guys diving in the box to draw a penalty and score it to turn a lifeless scoreless draw into a 1-0 victory. No organizing body ever does anything to suspend the player after the fact or tell him he did wrong.

Remember the game vs. Slovenia last World Cup where we got blatantly robbed on a play and FIFA intentionally kept the ref away from all media so he could not say in front of cameras he made a mistake or to defend a horrible call he made?
