We almost lost Lewis to transfer last year. People close to the program feel that getting him to stay at state was just as big as landing cat barber. As a matter of fact, we had more of a chance last off season at losing Lewis than TJ going pro

Competition for playing time is good. It is something the program has lacked for years. Gott is doing a good job building some depth both with recruiting and back filling with transfers to offset the attrition.

If players are transferring to get playing time instead of working to earn it I question how much value they have to the team in the first place.

has nothing to do with having a lead or not. not coaching defense will catch up with you eventually.. you can shoot hot and get a lead but when that cools off or when the other team stops being cold the lead will be gone.

the experience excuse is such bullshit. we underachieved like hell last year with as experienced a team as youre going to get because he sucks at coaching defense

(the 3 teams after us are unc, indiana and arizona)

the only team having a worse year than us is south carolina
