Pages of posts already contain "<a name=2264962>" to go to a post directly. If that was my last post in a thread, it should instead be "<a name=2264962><a name=InsaneMan>". A second icon beside could go directly to a users last post in a thread. They probably read what was above that post and not many of the posts below if any.

That's a damn good idea. That way we could go to the last thing we said, which could be the last time we looked at it.

this could be damn useful, but then you'd have to edit a post and get rid of <a name=InsaneMan> when you posted there again. maybe instead of editing every thread, you could just have it for My Topics. and then just set a value with that topic that is <a name=2264962>. then when you post again it changes that in my topics. i dunno how they've got it all set up though. just sounds easier and more efficient than editing a post everytime you make a new post.

Only if the next post is on the same page. It could be left on previous pages and still work on the last. Clean up doesnt have to be done every post.

That would be easier since theres already some kind of structure that lists these topics for each user. It wouldnt be hard to add a post number (which is already in the page) and use it for a column in my topics.
