ok, this is a pretty cool idea so hear me out.

We should all agree that the piggies coming onto TWW to scope out parties and such is handicapping the true potential of this site and that this site would be a lot more popular among college students if we could freely discuss parties, etc.

In light of this, I propose that TWW flag those threads which have been downloaded by an RPD ip address... you could make the text blue in color or something like that....

if that is too much of a load on the server, you already have the feature whereby if you click on the number of replies you can see who has replied -

so if an RPD ip address has replied to a thread, flag the thread or put a quick entry in the reply-number page.

Seriously though... the place that I work at has RPD security every night. Whenever I have to go get change... the cop is just standing there. The other night he was talking about the parties and the noise ordinance. He was almost laughing. He said that the RPD has hired a guy to do nothing but look after noise and party "problems" over at state. He also said that this guy gets off at reading post like this on TWW. I'm all for a better way to post parties. Maybe TWW could make a special section just for parties. You could view/post messages only if you were signed in with your TWW login? It's a little annoying that they are using TWW in this way.
