Not sure if we have any of these threads floatin' around, but I figured i'd give it a shot. I searched to no avail, and if we have one, my apollogies in advance. Throw some pics up of your ride, I'd like to see them if no one else would...

hells yeah, it was still pulling a little. the rev limiter kicks in though and limits the speed to 113mph. the probe is a fun car to throw around some turns once you learn the fwd understeer thing.

Good idea Mike...Why don't we add some stats and mods as well?

I'll start:

1988 MR2 Supercharged One of only 1777 imported in 1988.
1.6L supercharged inline 4
145hp 140 lb.ft.
8.0:1 compression, 7 rib block with higher nickel content, forged pistons
-To minimize parasitic power loss from the crankshaft-driven supercharger, the engine is fitted with an electrically operated magnetic clutch that disengages the blower drive system under no-load conditions. The package also includes a device that can either route incoming air directly to the engine or send it backward through the supercharger to prevent potentially terminal overboosting. Thanks to its electronic decoupling system, the supercharger extracts only a modest fuel economy penalty during normal driving The 5-speed version we tested earns 24/30 mpg city/highway marks from the EPA as opposed to the 26/31 ratings for the naturally aspirated car. Protracted bouts of hard acceleration have a definite negative effect on mileage. But even with a fair amount of running heavy on the boost, we still averaged a respectable 22.2 mpg.

Me and my evil looking Jeep. When Carmax gets its act in gear and gets my licence plate from SC, I hope they get the American Flag plate, as it looks much cooler than the Palmetto one.

Daily driver, slow v6 Mustang. '97 Cobra wheels, true dual exhaust (Flowmaster 2-chamber), Eibach progressive-rate springs. As soon as I get out of school and make a little cash I will either drop a 351W with supercharger in it or get me an '03 Cobra. Depends on what I feel like at that time (probably gonna be so far away that it's not important).

Oh, and Carl if you have the Cobra wheels, you need the Cobra badge. If you have anything Cobra on a Mustang, you gotta have that badge.

We had a sidewalk sale this weekend. There was this bandpass box with 2 12" subs I think. It had neon lights around the speakers that would blink with the BOOM! Forget how much they were, but you know they would get the bitches.

1972 Chevelle Malibu 180K
-Replaced the 350 about 5 years back.
-4 barrell Quadra-junker
-Had all of the original California Emission system when I first bought it in '92
Iowa winters have since caught up with her and the brown cancer has a strong hold. Especially under the vinyl top.

1995 240sx SE 106K
Bone stock right down to the CD player. I've only had this car for about 2 months and look for excuses to drive it when ever I can. I'll probably drive it until the stock motor/5 spd go and then I'll probably make the jump to the SR20. I may upgrade the intake and the exahaust in the meantime.
