How about certain informational threads by the moderators be made permanent @ the top of the page. Like the one in Premium Palace about how to Post HTML, stuff that ALL the new people seem to ask.

I like sticky threads. I don't like the idea of letting everyone post in them. You'd get assclowns wanting to put a dick picture in a sticky thread. Bad. 1/15/2004 4:39:02 PM |

I think a good example of this is a permanent sticky thread that nobody but Mods can post in at the top of Classifieds that details the book exchange to get more people to use it. 2/10/2004 10:51:22 AM |

there is no fucking need for that. there is a button clearly labeled "books" right under your inbox link. 2/10/2004 11:07:37 AM |

If they get implemented they will probably be abused 2/10/2004 1:12:46 PM |

I don't think it would get abused if they just let only the mods be able to do it. And if you have a thread you post and you think it should be sticky you should be able to contact a mod and they can "promote" it for you. 2/10/2004 2:09:32 PM |

i think this would be a good idea for some of the tech talk threads but other then that i really dont see where it could be used much elsewhere. maybe i'm just baised in that respect but i think thats where the most Questions and answers come up and a few stickies with the most common questions would be an interesting way to limit useless threads from being created. 2/12/2004 10:38:53 PM |
