under settings you can turn of sounds... not sure what sounds that would relate to (only inbox or all embeds)

Well, I have no problems with embeds themselves. Just when people use the hidden/autostart shit to force everyone to listen to whatever they feel like spamming.

my guess is that an action like that would lose a ton of premies. i know i wouldn't be back.

i DO think that there should be short term suspensions if someone embeds more than a handful of songs a day... i embed them, but i avoid hiding them so that people can stop the song. also, i don't just go around embedding songs in every other thread like a couple guys out there.

now if someone would just post the screenshot of how to disable mp3's in IE, we'd all be set and everyone could stop crying to daddy.

that's the downside, i admit. i wish there were some more admins so there would be better responses to suspending people... the way i see it, if someone does something lame *cough* embed-whatever-song-ssjamind-is-drunkenly-rocking-out-to *cough*, i think they should get suspended for a few days to a week. if they continue, just make the time period longer, but have a set amount of time.
