^^^Just bought some DD French Vanilla because they were out of my Folgers kind.

Had it this morning and it was pretty damn ridiculous. Expensive, but worth it I think.

i tried to wean myself off over exams and i did. but the other day i drank one of those starbucks double shot energy/coffee/speed drinks from the grocery store (i was tired and this particular shady grocery store had ONLY starbucks energy drinks, which is fine, bc i don't particularly care for redbull/vault/etc).

damn. those things are like crack. the worst part is there are 2 servings in a can and obviously you drink the entire thing at once because you have no self control. and plus, how the hell do you save it when the can is already open? you don't. they are so tricky.

now all i want is vanilla coffee. hot. cold. i don't currr.

I had the Obama mocha drink from global village earlier today. It's half dark chocolate and half white chocolate and DELICIOUS.

I used to drink mochas all the time, then one day I randomly switched over to black coffee and I love it.

That was my crack when I bartended. I'd buy two cans a night. Down one can around 8 or 9pm. Then when I needed a boost to get through the late night rush, suck the other can down around 12:30/12:45ish.

your starbucks people better pray that it doesn't go belly up.

they started shedding lots of employees last week, in addition to the people that lost their jobs from closing all those year old stores.

high prices, less service, more wait time = potential failure.

really? Sbux go belly up?

I gave up daily coffee starting this past Monday. I had a vicious headache that afternoon and another milder one on Tuesday and then a brief one yesterday. I used to think it didn't really have much of an affect on me as far as sleep goes but I've noticed I'm ready for bed about an hour or so earlier now, I get to sleep almost instantly, I don't wake up in the middle of the night, and I am bouncing between groggy to alert in the morning depending on what the previous days workout and diet routines were rather than a consistently awake on the expectation that coffee is coming shortly.

I have a harebrained idea that coffee, or rather the seriously excess amount of caffeine is getting in the way of working out and recovery from workouts and such. So I am testing the theory to see if there is anything different. I do know that I was in killer shape in 2006 and all workouts felt great and as the coffee intake kept going up and up towards the end of that year and into 2007 my athletic performance and will to workout plummeted. I was turning into a fairly serious triathlete and general endurance athlete, and it's gotten so bad that I haven't been for a lap swim in the pool in nearly 22 months now. All because of coffee, rofl.

Today at Cup a Joe the candy drinks are on sale. Iced mochas/lattes and hot voltaires are cheap ($3.25 for 22 oz. and four shots of espresso) and come with free whipped cream.

But I'm a fan girl because I work there (and I usually drink black coffee because I hate all the sugar).
