i'd like to voice my support for bobbydigital in his succession to the crown of idiocy, due to in part the reasons listed below:

allowing tech talk to become a Q/A forum on a level that reminds me of computer tutoring for old people

moving threads out of tech talk into obviously unrelated sections (just lock it you dumbass, you're not doing tech talk any favors by polluting other sections with threads you deem unworthy)

i can't really think of anything else, but really the number of stupid questions that show up in tech talk and go unmoderated should stand by itself.

i think the best solution might be to rename "Tech Talk" to "Post The Dumbest Fucking Computer Question You Can Think Of," that'd clear up any confusion people have about it being a forum for any sort of productive discussion
