This new car culture started out with 1970s Chevy Impalas and Caprices (Donks) then came (Box Chevy's) 80-90 Chevy Caprice, now its everything Buick's, Olds, Pontiacs Caddy's and even Fords. All candied out in lime greens, pinks, fucias, shades of blues, reds and Burples. It does not stop there.... with Gucci, Coach,Louie Vaton and Channel tops and interiors, we have even filmed Alligator and Ostrich Skin interiors. I have always preferred to drive big cars and though the paint and wheels are not my style, they sure beat little pickups with no suspension and wheels the size of saucers.

Now, I like big cars. And while dubs aren't my thing, they can look okay. But--this trend of putting like 24"-28" wheels on cars is just incredibly dumb. I mean, this thing is so high off the ground it's got more clearance than most trucks!

just a few years ago the trend was totally opposite- to see how close you could get a tiny car or little pickup to the ground.

It's pretty hard to tuck those 30's, so I guess that's where the lift kit comes in

This one is floating around Raleigh, built at Ryans Performance Machines. They had to lift it 4" to fit the 26" wheels.......

It is still there, this is a true trend. Rollin on skates is the gayest thing since optimousprimer's posts. Oh and btw this trend was not started on the east coast.

Skates was the term used when this god-awful trend started. Glad to see it has survived.

I SAW THESE RIDES ON 40 this weekend near Winston Salem!

There are a lot of 'em out there. Going to the game I saw 3 caprices on what looked like 22s heading down I-40. Two mid 90's and one late 80's. Yes, they were traveling together....

unless youre taking some under construction pics, have your fenders hung properly and sidemarkers installed before putting your car up on the internet

front clip isnt on right, grilles/stoneshield are loose, headlamp bezels are missing, but check out the fake brake rotors

trunk emblems are wrong, car would look cleaner without the generic side molding

on no.
