I think it would be a good idea if we could limit the number of images in a post to ~5. It is not uncommon for people to post a huge string of images which is a little annoying.

The Chit Chat example just happened to be convenient. I have seen it in the lounge and the classifieds as well.

The only good exception I can think of would be the classifieds section where people often sell 10+ items in one auction. Any other ideas?

Good idea, but people would just find ways around it. I bet it would be too hard to stop premies from using HTML to link tons of pics into a thread, and the normal users would just post 5, reply to thread and post another 5, etc.

It does get old...I'm tired of seeing that damned catfish.
