alright guys, in addition to the improvements showcased in the initial beta, I have added these requests from users:

-increased font size 10%
-provided more horizontal space by removing red side bars; reduces clutter
-changed from folders to old/new icons (although full replacements are on the way)
-readded the beloved "go to bottom" and "go to top" links
-increased button size
-removed red side bars so we don't confuse insaneman
-added links at the bottom of threads and sections to go back to thread list or section list

in addition to these fixes requested by users, we added a lot of functionality ourselves!

we are looking to deploy all of the changes over the thanksgiving break.

what do you guys think? is it ready?

the back to topic list is replaced with the hierarchial (sp) stuff on the bar. hit the "go" button to go back. or click on the section at the bottom.

i'll look into putting a separator between the user info and the post itself.

Thin white line desperately needed! Not just between user name and posts, but in the individual message boards to separate columns. It would look so much better I think. I also think it would look better if the background of the drop down section menu was white instead of red. Yes, that's a silly suggestion but I think it would.

well, the subscribe to topic button is nice when you are selling something in the classifieds

however it would be nice to thave the "back to topic" button back

um, hey I know this is last minute, but can you please please pretty please change the icon to have gray skin?? It just looks ridiculous with yellow skin; as we all know, vampires have a less than healthy complexion.

oh yeah, something I just thought of. I don't know how many people actually subscribe to a thread, so maybe put that in a less prominent position where its not so easy to accidentally hit. It is still a very important function though. I think I may be just nit-picking now. It looks good

i like the fact u can go to the last page of threads really easily(the "1 2 3 4 5..... 299" thing). i don't know if u could do this before, but at least now i see it.
