If you're busty, you'll show cleav in that dress. Not a lot, but it will definitely be there.

Ok so back to the Old Navy debacle....you can't get 25% off dresses?

WTF that's what I wanted

I'd like to see it on before I could tell if it shows off my cleavage.

I have cleavage that tends to attract eyes if i wear something like that, I try to cover it up with something like this dress

if it were a full on pump it'd bother me, but with that little coverage overall, it feels more sandal-like to me.

punchmonk, a sturdy halter like this is a lot better if you're trying to cover your cleavage. plus its backless ... showing your back is always sexy but classy!

^^^heh i was considering that dress!! i love it because it covers up the cleavage nicely, but the back is still cute and fun. the only downside for me is that it's satin and the wedding is outdoors (thinking chiffon would be more comfortable).

i got this at target today. i don't know why, but it made me happy. i only ever wear neutral colored eyeshadows hahaha. i really like the colors, but when i wear colors i feel like a hooker. HELP! how do i wear them and look cute?!

p.s. the colors here are a little washed out. the middle on the bottom row is actually a true teal. the one to the left of that is like a BRIGHT lime green. so..pretty much every color is much more vibrant in real life than the picture. when i see them on the models and stuff on the website and even just regular old friends and people...they look fine. but on me i feel like a prostitute clown.

http://tinyurl.com/5v3g4bc

oh and p.s. i def need to get my boobs measured. eric insists i am not bigger than a B cup. but i bought a strapless bra w/o trying it on...34B. ouch. it is so uncomfortable. so i went back and switched it out for a C and it is still not comfortable. and 34 is plenty big around. like i wear it on the third or second hook (or first or second depending on how you count...but the smallest). i don't know what my problem is. but i need to get measured because my boobs are so uncomfortable. and clearly when i measure myself i am not doing a good job. when i measure myself i get some crazy ass size like 33C. is that even real? wahhhhh. its one of those things i've put off doing but i need to. all bras are uncomfortable to me now.

PLUS all bras seem to ride up on me. what does that mean. too small? too big? well they can't be too big because my whole boob doesn't fit in. so it must be too small. but even if i get a bigger size they still ride up and i'm constantly pulling at them and adjusting. ugh....

they look to be separated into 3 rows. with most left being your high light, the middle being the lid color and the most right being the crease color

to me thats what it looks like to me

i know! but the teal in the bottom middle (lid) still looks like a hooker when it is on

or at least on me. it looks pretty on other people. but i look like a clown.

and the top row...i actually wore the outer edge/crease color on my lid because the lid and highlight color just matched my skin tone. you couldn't even see the color at all it is so pale. :/

poor me. i have hooker clown eyes.

edit: don't know why i keep saying crease when i mean lid. i've been drinking...whoopsie.

i have that issue too. i like brighter colors but if i put them as the main color i look ridiculous. usually i just wear a natural/cream shade, and use w/e color for the crease. it's just a splash of color rather than hooker amounts

I feel the same way with brighter eye shadows. I think it's because I never really learned how to do makeup and just a few years ago decided to start wearing it. Most of the time I just do liner, but if I do shadow it's brown, pink or gray. Anything else and I kinda feel like a ho. I feel you.

poor us! haha.

i guess i will just stick to neutrals!

i was wondering if it was a brown eye thing. i don't just have brown eyes...i have stupid doe eyes. they are big and brown. i feel like then if i add color it is SUPER noticeable. and ups the hooker/clownness.

well i'm glad it isnt just me. i think the splash of color like DDK suggested is the best way to go. but whenever i see other people do the whole lid, it looks so cool. i need to just ask them for their secrets.

^ i think that looks really good! that is way better than what i do. i think purple and gray really compliment brown. it looks pretty.

i guess i'm just jealous of people that can do like...teal, yellow, pink, etc. even a light purple. i guess the deeper purples are pretty similar to my normal gray/brown/neutral tones. but the brighter i go...the worse it gets.

the other bad thing is my lips. they are a blessing and a curse. they are always very bright pink. people always ask me what lip shade i'm wearing and i've never worn lipstick or tinted gloss in my life. that is how bad it is haha. so it ups the clown factor. because then its like i'm wearing bright eyeshadow and bright lipstick but really they are just my normal lips!

i need a makeup lesson. the people on tww that are good at doing makeup should host a girl's night party and teach the pathetic people like me or i'll host the party and the people who know what they are doing just need to show up and helppppp me

they make nude colored lipsticks to tone down the lips if you want. angelina jolie was rockin that shit in w/e movie i was watching with her in it the other day. it made me wnat to get some.

i feel like we have similar face hooker/clown makeup issues haha

A good way to use those bright eye colors is to wet a thin brush and use it like liner for a little pop.

If you measure and get 33 (which is a totally real and legit measurement), you're supposed to be wearing a 32. Your bra around should be tight enough that it doesn't ride up (which is why you're having that trouble: when I started losing weight I had the same issue when I needed to go from a 38 to a 36). You're probably a 32C, most likely. It may seem tighter than you're used to, but it's so much better than being in the wrong size.

so...i need to decide on something...

shoe show has the jack rogers knockoffs for 2 for $20

yesterday i got silver and black...

they also have white and gold

i have a target pair of white with gold stitching and a gold pair...

the shoe show gold pair are a lot more "gold" than the target pair...

so my question is...do i really need a solid white pair when i have a white pair with gold stitching and do i need a more gold pair than the gold pair i already have?

i think less is more with gold shades, personally. I'd prefer something more subtle to a 24k shade. did you try them on? If they are more comfortable than the ones I already had, I'd think about it. If not, pass
