Sometimes I try to line things up with blank-spaces but there appears to be a one blank-space limit.

So:

Study high / Take test high = +
Study high / Take test ____= -
Study ____/ Take test high = -
Study ____/ Take test ____= +++

becomes:

Study high / Take test high = +
Study high / Take test = -
Study / Take test high = -
Study / Take test = +++

Perhaps only limit it to 4-5 at a time?

Very good, you prove that premies can do it with code tags. How about the rest of us? Its not an unreasonable request.

I think what you're looking for is " "

it's an html limitation, not a limitation of this website.

if you look at the source of the page, you will see that all your spaces are there. Internet Explorer and every other browser just show one space instead of many.

to have many spaces, you will need to use or use the [code] tags

there are 5 spaces before this sentance.
     there are 5 spaces before this sentance.

if you 'edit post' and view source of this page, you will see that there are in fact 5 spaces before the first sentance, they are just not rendered by the browser.

Yeah, I've been looking at all of the edits on the page to see what people are doing. I just thought it was something limited by the site. Eh, still seems like a complicated solution to an easy problem.

i think the easy solution to this problem would be to terminate your user account

actually, it's an easy solution to a complicated problem. the complicated solution would be to rewrite the code for your browser. so just go get working on that and let us know when you're done with that simple solution.

it has nothing to do with this site or any site in particular. it's a limitation of the program you use to render the webpages (a web browser)
