Just got this guy man. Wow. Its the absolute shit. Best game out for the system so far for me. The amount of shit you can do in the game and the music/presentation is fucking badass.

If you have a DS, you have to buy this.

nope, not a lesser version of lumines. On metacritic (which is an average of all reviewers) both games received the same score. avg = 88.

taken from IGN's review:

"Lumines" is a fantastic PSP puzzler, just as Meteos is an excellent DS one. Both games have their own merits, but I'm giving the nod to Meteos due to its more unique design, its incredible focus on a cool presentation, and its intense multiplayer sessions.

actually they are made by the same developer. No small coincidence I suppose.

I do like lumines though, there is a desktop flash version thats just like the psp version i got.

I've been playing it for quite awhile and enjoying it alot. I played Lumines a few weeks ago and it's totally different experience. Meteos is more hectic and crazy while Lumines is kind of sublime and ambient.

I wish I could play PSP's Lumines but $250 is too much and the flash version that I've played doesn't seem as good.
