i wish it was at the Orange Peel.... Thomas Wolfe Auditorium sucks..... I saw Cake there a long time ago and having rows and rows of seats ruins all the fun. Who sits down during a concert anyways??

i'd rather see Son Volt, but I'd go see Wilco if i didn't have to drive far or pay much, and didn't have anything else to do.

Is the guy that appeared in the Austin City Limits performance their new guitarist? If so, I'd love to check them out. They looked alot better than they looked playing live in their DVD.

friday, after arriving at asheville and wandering around for a while, my friend and i went up to the top of this random garage we had parked at to get a bird's eye view of the town.

looking down at the building next to us, which happened to be the civic center, we noticed a group of guys standing around, having their picture taken witha very professional looking camera.

"wouldn't it be neat if it that was wilco," we thought. "but surely not, they're playing at the thomas wolfe auditorium, not the civic center." however, we pulled a papparazzi and got a picture anyway.

well turns out the thomas wolfe auditorium and the civic center are one and the same, and that was, in fact, wilco.

anyway, the show kicked ass. good venue.
