Want to repaint a '95 Volvo 960 from green to black. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where the best place in the area to do this would be and about how much that would run me?

at laest 3k if the old paint is in good shape, if it has to be removed, the metal sealed and dents fixed, your talkin 4-5

After I got into a fender bender, a friend who also owns an Rx-7 recommended a guy named Jeff Brown to paint my car. He works at a body shop on Lake Wheeler but does jobs (with the help of his neighbor) on the side, out in Johnston county. He should be able to get you a good paint job in the $2000 range, although you better talk to him about painting the door jams and under the hood and stuff if you plan on changing the color.

On my car he filled all 52 dings and dents, a couple rust spots, and a cracked spoiler. This was in addition to putting a new fender, bumper, and mirror on for me. He got this all done in ten days.

Call him at 919-610-1987 (I believe that's his cell phone number). He'll want you to bring the car by his work so he can give you an estimate. Tell him that Raymond with the white Rx-7 sent you.

its not. either they've never had a car repainted, don't know what they're talking about, got ripped off, or had a showcar painted, but its not that expensive. i got my truck painted 2 years or so ago and it cost me $1800. he sprayed the door jambs, replaced the cab corners since they were rusted out, fixed dents, and pulled the cab and bed and sprayed rust converter on entire chassis.

the body work on my 66 mustang was about 4k, but that was a lot of dents and dings, four part mother of pearl base with painted on racing and rocker panel stripes, and blending in a fiberglass hood and side scoops, and painting the engine compartment and engine to match the car

How much does a black 95 volvo 960 cost? How much does a green 95 volvo 960 cost? Sell what you have, buy another, I highly doubt the difference is remotely close to what a decent paint job will cost, factory paint jobs are super high quality

Yeah, I need to get my car repainted also...if anyone knows of a good place that will do it...it needs some dents/cracks filled also, and its a convertible which might make some masking off harder.
