Where have you guys been. I'm tired of beating noobs and the game on the highest setting. I need an opponent that can think, react and learn. I'm tired of schooling people, I want a challenge. God, if somebody actually beat me it would make my day lol. I'm far from the best but I got as close to Masterful as one should ever get lol . I'm still young, 19, some of you have been playing this game longer than I've been alive. I first played this game when I was about 7 or 8 so it was one of my first games. I'm issuing a decree, If you want me then come get me. Oh and Bring your "A" game.

Now that's the kind of talk I like to hear. I take it you'll be at the arcade on Saturday?

Oh with every fiber of my being, I'll try and be there. After I get unpacked, I'm on my way. Dear God, please don't let the stupid first day moving in BS take too long.

LOL. I'm down for Saturday and Sunday. Like I said, any old time works for me since I live not even a minute away from Crabtree. I'm still intending to be there on Saturday, but if you'd like to also arrange something on Sunday as well, just suggest a time.

Quite frankly, I was more of a Mortal Kombat 1 kind of guy-- A fighting game with over-the-top violent fatalities was unheard of, back in the day! I'm a complete button masher, and Street Fighter take too much "strategy"--

Oh, I definitely play 3rd Strike as well. If you'd like to play that too, that's welcome.

is that the one with the card slot below the controllers?

MVS (multi-video system) just means it's the arcade neo-geo, not the home system. The games are cartridges that can be changed out, unlike most arcade games that are embedded in the pcb.

[Edited on August 15, 2005 at 2:43 PM. Reason : and yeah, most of them have the card slot, but not all.]

Yeah, there's one guy out there who I seem to break even with more often than not. If you can prevent the throw, then you've got him beat.

I had my biggest run in years on Saturday with 14 wins in a row. Back in my prime, I had 55. "I can feel my powers returning."

LOL. Awesome! I seem to have this memory of a code, but I can't remember what it does. When the Capcom logo appears, you have to quickly press down, R, up, L, Y, B, X, A.

I can remember the watered-down fatalities Mortal Kombat used to have on the SNES. Video games have come a long way since then.

All this time and only one decent challenger? Surely some of you are ready to fight now. Let me know!
