I will be moving to an apartment soon and I am looking to get phone service and dsl as cheap as possible.

Does anyone have recommendations?

the cable company that monopolizes the area is not Time Warner, and I don't think they even have internet service, and their basic cable is too high

look at what your phone company offers with bundles, but most cable companies now offer internet in all their areas

I was checking into Bellsouth, that was the first company that was mentioned to me, but I don't have Cingular anymore to get one of the good packages

bellsouth has a pretty good bundled package. Check their website or just call them and ask what the latest promotional offers are.

Where is the apartment? I work at an ISP that serves DSL through most parts of the state.

earthlink is runnig 19.95/month for 6 months, i think its at 1.5Mbps

The best I have found so far is BellSouth, which is about 115-130 for directv, 3 MBps internet, and a local phone line.
