make it a 92x and the only teasing you'll get is from wrx owners who think you paid too much for your car. 93x and it'll be the same thing from MALIBU owners... 97x.... trailblazers.... 95....people who think 9000 was cooler and 164s will be that person then.... hmmmmm maybe don't buy a saab, but all the other things that led up to saabs are pretty cool, unless you really want the ignition on the console.... that's gotta have some novelty value, and hey, none of 'em are really ugly......

I don't know many Saab owners who don't like their car. Avoid Classic 900s though. Also avoid NG900s with V6s.

I have owned a '99 9-5 for a short period of time - decided I didn't want an automatic transmission - and convinced my GF to buy a '96 900 Turbo coupe (5 speed). They have their flaws, namely low effort steering in the 900 and somewhat soft suspension in the 9-5 (SE... Aero is supposed to have fixed that) but both were very solid cars, and the 4cyl engines are very easy to work on.

They're definitely not the equal of Audi/Acura/BMW when it comes to being drivers cars, but due to huge depreciation they're an incredible value in a luxury/sporting car, imo.

Just don't get the V6's.

They upped power in the 9-3 recently. Base 210hhp turbo four and an option 250hp v6 i think
