nm... it's usually an option when you install a program. It'll say "allow all users to use this application" or something like that... Not sure how to go from there... Try messing around with Users in the control panel.

i just want guest to not see everything that i have installed on my pc, so they will not want to do this and that while they are on my pc, eg. using limewire.

Set up a non administrator account and then pick and choose what they see. It's easy.

i think i tried that. but any how, what options should i look for? also, how would i set it so that the user cannot create a pssword for the account?

install the apps to your directory under documents and settings and lock it.

A quick way to do it would be to remove startmenu application shortcuts out of the all users folder and put them in the folder for a specific user or users. A limited user acount might still be able to find them and run them, but they would have to look for them through windows explorer.

damn, i don't know if home supports this. but if you really want to win, set the access rights to that program to a specific group of users. there's a "Run As..." option if you hold down shift and right click on an app that will let you authenticate as another user to run something
