I dropped my ID in the atrium one time. Someone found and used it. Though it was my fault I dropped it, they considered it stolen because of the unauthorized use, and I didn't have to pay for a new card. I'm guessing guessing that you can get a free card if you report it stolen instead of stolen.

You can report it missing online if you're worried about someone checking out books in your name or getting into the gym on your fees. You can get a new one made in the West Dunn building on Dan Allen.

It doesn't cost anything if the card broke. Tell them it broke so you threw it away. I know several people who got a free one doing that.
