Canada's "Prine of Pot," now under arrest and facing life in prison if we manage to pull him across the border for trial.
Thoughts?

What's a "prine"? Is that like John Prine, the old folkie singer-songwriter? 8/17/2005 7:41:26 PM |

I hope the g0vt doesn't actually think that doing stuff like arresting Marc Emery, Tommy Chong, or medical marijuana patients gives the citizens of the US the impression that the g0vt is "cracking" down" on marijuana--instead, most polls support the idea that people view these actions by the g0vt as desperate and excessive attempts to continue it's irrational and unwinnable "war".
The final step (or the straw that will break the camel's back,) before the end of the "war" on cannabis will not happen as a result of marijuana activists reaching new social or political ground. It will happen as a result of g0vt anti-cannabis enforcement going way too far, and causing such shock, disgust and outrage that nearly everyone, even those whom hate marijuana and marijuana users, will demand an immediate end to cannabis prohibition.
