well apparently a camera "caught" me "running a red light"

it was in cary and i was making a right turn. i stopped ahead of the sensors and proceeded to turn left.

so.. what should i do?

well, you are suppose to stop at a red light when turning right. even if they catch you at 1mph, you still broke the law. they usually have the speed on that sheet also

was there a no right turn on red sign? many of the red light intersections have that also. i'm suprised you got one, i've had 2 cameras in cary flash at me within the past few months and never got a ticket. red light cameras=just another step of the government into our lives. they pass this shit off as being "for safety". yeah right.

I'm almost positive you can turn right on red there. I also remember there was an article in the paper or on wral about that particular intersection. Apparently it was catching more people turning right on red than all of the other cary cameras combined at the time.
I think I got my picture taken yesterday too, on walnut.

There is no "No turn on red" sign, though, I don't think.

Either wya, that's a shitty intersection cuz everyone runs that light as you come down that hill.

yeah, there's a few unmarked sections now. There's one camera section near the walmart in cary off of tryon road, but they don't tell it also has camera spying in another intersection about 200 ft away. Its actually hidden near some trees. cary, trying to raise extra money for their rich schools

Since they do not give moving violations for the tickets they don't have to prove it was even you in the car. Its just like a parking ticket. Doesn't matter who was driving the owner of the car gets the ticket.

Again I think redlight camera's are BS and illegal as hell. But they have been consistantly help in courts.
