If you don't like jam bands, read no further- turn your radio dial to G105 or whatever and read another thread.

If you do like'em, this is a great band and you should do yourself a favor and check them out in a venue like Lincoln Theater while you still can. For the uninitiated.....

If anyone has doubts, download any shows off of archive, especially with the songs Glory or Miss Tinkle's Overture. If that can't change your mind about them, nothing will. One of the most talented bands since (and I know this sounds like blasphemy) the days of Jerry Garcia.

hell yea, can't wait for this show.. Umph is gonna rock lincoln as hard as it's ever been rocked!
Don't know why the booking agent chose lincoln over cats cradle, but it's a welcome change, I like the sound at lincoln..

i have never listened to umphreys mcgee so they may be ok

but i think the majority of people who hate jam bands also hate G105. so that statement is stupid.
i hate jam bands because i think they are boring, and the last time i saw one it was agonizing waiting for them to get off the stage so the next band could play.

but you're right i will go read another thread.

Keller is playing with umphrey's at new year's. Keller is good but I have one problem with him. The show is the same every time. Plays the same tired songs and then does his loop thing with the drums on his knees and all that other shit. Don't get me wrong, I like Keller. But Umphrey's is on another level.
