well, if you want it really checked out it needs the oil pan pulled for inspection of the bottom end bearings, have things mic'd etc... at which point you might as well do a bottom end rebuild a good compression and leakdown will give you a pretty good indication of the topend (cylinders anyway, not neccesarily cam wear, cam bearings, etc.). at best , you're still taking some risk without being able to have it run. 8/18/2005 12:46:15 AM |
