^ Perhaps, but I think its an homage to a New Order song so that should explain it.

Austin City Limits
The Killers followed by Spoon
November 5
The Killers have taken their catchy rock out of the indie scene and into the mainstream. Highlights include the hit "Somebody Told Me" and other songs off the band's newest release Hot Fuss. Spoon explores the sound limits of indie-rock while keeping thoughtful lyrics at the forefront. The Austin band performs songs from their newest CD Gimme Fiction.

"i cant believe a shed seven cover band is getting this much hype."

couldnt be more right.

^I was about to say that Shed Seven sounded kind of like the Seahorses and funnily enough "Rick Witter & The Dukes" features the bassist from the Seahorses.

I dont know enough of Shed Seven to make an assesment but I dont think the Killers are that similar to Shed Seven from what I've listened to.

the killers are good, but they're not as good as they get credit for. I enjoyed their album, but it's not even in my top ten of the year.

i like what i've heard so far from the killers. i haven't heard the whole album, but some of it. i'm not head-over-heels in love with them, but they're enjoyable.

I don't think the Killers are that similar to Shed Seven either. Shed Seven is better (the one b4 they disbanded) .... & i like the bravery live > the killers live cos' their bass player is so hot

What is this bullshit?

Battle Born "world tour" and yet they completely ignore the entire southeast and mid atlantic regions of the US?

Hot Fuss was fantastic...but I haven't really liked anything they've done since. A shame, that.

Did you give Sam's Town much of a chance? Some fans (including myself) consider it their best work.

In my humble opinion, this band does not deserve its own thread.

I consider Sam's Town to be their best work.

I also consider Zelda II to be the best game in the Zelda series, if that helps you understand me.

Apparently The Killers don't think "too" highly of their latest album, which came out last September. They've already been reported to be back in the studio working on another.
