Haha. My gf's father used to work in management for the company that makes them.
The prototypes are far more badass. 8/25/2005 5:38:24 PM |

motorola mpx220.
the problems: the output volume can be low in a really loud area, but i dont really mind. the photo/video camera sucks, but i use my digital camera when i want to take pics anyways.
i got it so i could use it in the UK. i just picked up a cheap Orange (one of their mobile providers) SIM card for 5 pounds and it worked fine with it. it also has a mini SD expansion support, so i can use it as a mp3 player (although you do need a 2.5mm headphone adapter or bluetooth headphones, cause normal 3.5mm headphones won't fit). 8/25/2005 6:01:38 PM |

Jon:
the treo 670 isn't anything but a rumor still. Nobody really knows where it is in the development cycle and you can't buy one anywhere.
All the videos prove is that the device CAN run Windows. 8/25/2005 8:13:39 PM |

I'm very wary of any report that says Palm is going to do anything with Windows Operating Systems. 8/25/2005 8:34:28 PM |

once you use it you cant go without it, in a sense
if im driving to lunch and someone sends an email to my work address, i get it almost instantaneously on my bb handheld and can reply right there
and i dare anyone to even think they have a higher Brickbreaker score than I 8/26/2005 11:11:58 AM |

^--Windows Mobile & Exchange can do the same thing - if set up properly. Exchange 2003 SP2 along with Windows Mobile 5.0 will only make that more obvious..but, considering the fact that verizon EV-DO went live in the area this morning - gotta go with this over a blackberry:
Audiovox VX6600 http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/store/controller?item=phoneFirst&action=viewPhoneDetail&selectedPhoneId=1640
although, we're getting BES to sit on top of exchange as well..for those who hear blackberry and can't be persuaded otherwise...so to each their own!
