Yes, there were many terrorists groups which received support from Iraq. There were many other groups which used Iraq as a staging area. And there were many terrorists, which had killed Americans, which were being sheltered in Iraq.

I remember when British forces captured that really fat guy that had shot and killed am American in a wheelchair about an italian cruise ship.

for those arguing that there are terrorists in many other countries, the reason we haven't gone after them too is simple: it's hard enough to get support for taking on one of those countries. thus the millions of attacks on Bush and the war in Iraq.

Bush talks about Al Qaeda all the time because they're one of the big groups and everybody knows about them.

First one makes quite a bit more sense than the second one. The 9/11 hijackers were selected by people in Afghanistan. If we want to use this line of reasoning, why don't we ask the terrorists how many Americans are driving the bulldozers that destroy Palestinian homes (or whatever else the Israelis do that they don't like?)

As to the first one...well gee, other than the first Gulf War, I've got nothing. I mean, they tried to kill Americans (like George Bush, Sr.) after the war, but I guess that doesn't count.
