they recorded a seven song EP, Lays in the Reigns to be released by overcoat records. i've heard conflicting reports of when the album is due out (sept. 13 or sept. 20) but it's coming soon!

also, they're planning on touring the east coast in mid november. the shows will go something like this: iron&wine plays a set, calexico plays a set, they play a set together. i'm psyched!
