I think my mobo is a AGP 1x support. Will a AGP 8x card work on my 1x AGP slot?
I currently have a Geforce2 MX200/MX400 in it.
looks like this:
(not 1.5v)

if you only have a AGP 1x slot, then a 8x AGP card will NOT work.
Plus you'll fry the shit.
Buy a new mobo. 9/7/2005 10:30:30 PM |

and... if your mobo and cpu are that old, then you're probably not going to see any meaningful performance boost 9/7/2005 10:31:47 PM |

AGP speed doesnt have anything to do with it, the card will simply operate at 1x.
Form factor is though. 9/8/2005 1:13:48 AM |
