Ok so my sister is a freshman who hasn't figured out how stupid it is to click on random links that come over aim. . .

Needless to say she has one of those annoying ass viruses that sends out links to everybody constantly. If someone could tell me how to get rid of this thing it would be great.

The link that this one in particular sends out says: "LOL http://newpicss.homeftp.org/Images.php"

Any help would be appreciated

surest way to get rid of it is to reformat and reinstall windows. I mean you COULD try running the virus scanner in safemode and making sure it's updated, and you COULD get her to call 515-help or something and getting a resnet tech out there. I mean I'm assuming that she's on campus since she's a freshmen right? I mean those would be the obvious things to try though, so I'm also assuming that since you can use the internet and go to the wolfweb, you must have already gone to ncsu.edu/resnet and checked around for common solutions and asked for help there right?
