i haven't been there all year. i heard that roy lee doesn't lease the track anymore and the new leasee has improved it quite a bit. a lot more parking, the pit entrance has moved down the road, etc.

^^^agree. the new benson does suck. before, you'd smell weed, see people drinking beer, placing bets, having a good time. that was the only place me and p nis could think of that whites and blacks could be at the same place and have the same good time and actually get along. there was always the attitude of "don't start no shit, won't be no shit." down there. i guess now that the new leasee cleaned that place up, nobody wants to go down there anymore. i know i dont.

^^^yeah, that's the way it used to be... but about 1-2 years ago it just went way downhill. fights, people doing passes drunk as shit, etc... i'm glad it's cleaned up, but sounds like they went too far. maybe they'll ease up once they feel like the true troublemakers are gone.
