i am trying to watch the 1st season of 24 while i do some hw but cant play the dvd
initially i wanted to watch it on the tv and that wouldn't work so i tried on my monitor. it wont play full screen in windows media player and windvd just has a pink screen

i have a radeon 9500 softmodded as a 9700

whats the deal? i've never got one to work on the tv but now i cant even get it to play on the monitor.

When you say on the TV do you mean through a normal DVD player and not the computer?

Are the DVDs legit?

the latest version

it will not show video when you try to go full screen
it will flicker then go back to normal, if you try it again it goes full screen but just has audio

your codecs might be screwed up. Try VLC and see if it works with that one.

weird problem, could be your video card drivers/settings. Make sure your monitor is the primary and not clone/secondary.
