every couple of weeks a new set of talking points get distributed by karl rove.

they currently include:

-we're making progress
-now is not the time to play the blame game or point fingers

if you can collect em all before they change you win a prize.

remember folks, they are said a lot, therefor they must be true.

Yeah, but the Dems don't have the media machine of talk radio, Fox, MSNBC, et al.

^^ the point was not that the do in fact send out talking points. It was to see if you can figure out what the talking points are without actually seeing the memo. Which usually isn't very hard because it's quite common to hear nearly the exact same quotes coming from different leaders, indicating they are all reading from the same prepared script.

Anything you heard on The Daily Show two weeks ago does not count.

Robert Novak had a great rebuttal to the "now is not the time" talking point:

Quote :
"What Chertoff "got down" was the White House mantra, repeated endlessly, that the "after-action analysis" should not interfere with current recovery operations.

It was similar to saying the Pearl Harbor attack should not have been investigated and nobody disciplined for failures until World War II was won."

^^ that is so true. The dems do tend to sway in the breeze of world opinion. Whats that? The world thinks that BBQ-ing babies is fine? Welp, America should do it too!
