for CSC246 that is supposed to emmulate the xterm shell, keep one thing in mind:

if you do it right, then when you run the program from one of the sun machines, it will look like ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HAPPENED initially... then you try and run "ps" and "ls" and you get back a convenient "command not found" message, and you are like WTF, mate?

then it hits you...
