Whether you choose to go with Windows, Mac OS X, Linux or whatever is a personal preference.

But a company coming out with a concept and/or product THAT HAS BEEN DONE FOR YEARS and try to call it completely unique and "not like any other product" is just fucked up.

I am working on a wide-scale XPSP2 CD deployment image right now and am feeling the MS hate I suppose.

Sure, image organizers have been around for a long time. Heck, MS Office comes with one of the best simple image manipulation and organization programs, but this is very new and impressive UI wise.

And I still dunno how you caught me picking on Bill Gates' anything...I just mentioned the new program and almost ridiculed you for comparing a shitty MacOS iPhoto software package to a Windows counterpart...when you know that they are not even competitors.

It is mostly because if there is a Mac thread, you always add an unqualified and unsolicited opinion to it.

I work on Windows most of the day and if someone here has a PC problem I will try to help them out and not hate on them for having a PC. I said what I said because you were the one that made the thread.

I'm going to have to get gargs back on this.

Almost no technology is ORIGINAL now.

Eraser: EVERY argument you made could be applied to google as well. They entered the market with a search engine, when several good ones already existed.

The underlying technology was different, but the end user saw the same results.

Yet GOOGLE has proceeded to destroy the competition because of the UNDERLYING differences and it's better UI.

Both of which are directly applicable to the success of pretty much every Microsoft product, this one included.

So fucking TRY IT, then talk shit if it sucks.
