so my old keyboard died and im looking to get a new one
im typing now on an old ibm and while its great for typing its massive and does not have certain keys ive come to use out of habit also the response time feels a little off at times (games etc.
i like a tactile feel and wireless is an option as long as theres no lag. also i dont like the ergonomic styles and try to avoid the extended space bar and bulky wrist areas
any recommendations 9/15/2005 5:00:44 PM |

I like my logitech basic usb keyboard and I've got a "kensington keyboard for life" I drag around too. that thing is freaking indestructible. lifetime warranty, spill resistant, usb, good feel. only problem is it doesn't any special programmable "access" keys or anything. it's a tough basic usb keyboard.
actually, there's a guy in classifieds selling one of the keyboards I use, logitech one. not sure if it's the USB or ps/2 version, but it looks exactly like the one I use.

i like my Zippy WK-720 aluminum flatkey keyboard. much easier on my fingers/wrists than big block keys. 9/15/2005 6:38:27 PM |

Uh, why not buy a $5 keyboard and scratch the letters off?

because it's DAS keyboard! it's german sounding and therefore superior to your homemade das-keyboard ripoffs! 9/15/2005 10:56:19 PM |

screw a programmable flip-up LCD, the keys are programmable OLED displays.
