Thought this would be a good place to post this. We need to borrow a saws all or something that can cut through a thin layer of metal to finish our kegerator conversion. Whoever lets us borrow one we'll give you a free cup when we drop a keg. Shoot me a PM or give me a call @ 919-272-5701 (Jon) ..thanks! 9/15/2005 6:35:24 PM |

is this for the hole to mount the taps? you might want to consider a jigsaw with a metal blade. sawsalls aren't really made for precision and finish cuts. they are more for demolition and cutting thicker metal. 9/15/2005 7:23:47 PM |

no, there is a metal piece in the bottom of the mini fridge which has to be cut out, we need something that would do that..but it would be also nice to use it for the top too which is where tap will be coming through..

you could maybe try a holesaw if you're just cutting circles, it'd be more exact, but if it's not circles get the holesaw, and if you're good you could probably do it with an angle grinder w/ a cutting blade on it. hope this helps 9/19/2005 11:50:46 PM |
