I'm trying to start a band; I play guitar, and write songs with lyrics. I cannot sing, but I can scream. A friend of mine is also in it, and he plays guitar, the violin, and can somewhat sing. I want to start a band that plays all types of music, with a basis in punk rock (contact me for a list of bands, or for what i mean by punk rock). I plan on playing all types of music, from acoustic, to rock, to punk, to hiphop. No emo (like whiny music) or hardcore (like alexis on fire, or beloved) will be played. If you play any instrument drop me a line, cause we'll probably use you.

i always thought singing and screaming went hand-in-hand........i've never heard a crappy singer scream well, but all of the good screamers i've heard were also very good singers

Nah I will play guitar in the band, write the arangements and lyrics (which is what I meant by 'and write songs with lyrics') with input from the band, and do backup screaming.
