As far as being badass goes:

Clinton - Courtesy bombing of some bushes and mud huts, blow job from ass ugly intern.

Bush - Invades another country, pwns Democrats into nonexistence, appoints next Chief Justice, shows what we all know: the nation does not, in fact, not give a shit about poor black folk, dodges every single PR disaster a president could possibly have.

As an added bonus, his daughters don't look like the cross between E.T and Mr.Ed

Quote :
"Clinton's job approval rating varied dramatically over the course of his presidency, with a low of about 40% during his first year and a high of about 70% approval during impeachment proceedings, [19]. A CNN/USA TODAY/Gallup poll,[20] conducted as he was leaving office, revealed deeply contradictory attitudes regarding Clinton. Although his approval rating at 65 percent was higher than any departing president since polling began more than seven decades earlier, only 45 percent said they would miss him. While 55 percent thought he "would have something worthwhile to contribute and should remain active in public life", and 47 percent rated him as either outstanding or above average as a president, 68 percent thought he would be remembered for his "involvement in personal scandal" rather than his accomplishments as president, and 58 percent answered "No" to the question "Do you generally think Bill Clinton is honest and trustworthy?" 47% of the respondents identified themselves as being Clinton supporters."

House flipping in '06, just like '94

Quote :
"The U.S. House election, 1994 was an election for the United States House of Representatives in 1994 which occurred in the middle of President Bill Clinton's first term. As a result of a 54-seat swing in membership from Democrats to Republicans, the Republican Party gained a majority of seats in the House for the first time since 1954."

you looked at the numbers to see if that kind of shift is feasible?

i expect a gain for dems, but anything more than 50% would surprise me.

"What is the current split between Republicans and Democrats in Congress?

In the House, currently there are 232 Republicans, 201 Democrats, and one Independent (Socialist Bernie Sanders of Vermont, who is, for purposes of organizing in the House, a Democrat). There is one vacancy due to the death of Congressman Bob Matsui. In the Senate, there are 55 Republicans, 44 Democrats, and one Independent - James Jeffords of Vermont (who is practically a Democrat)."

In 1994, Dems lost 54 seats and Repugs gained 54 seats.

Party Total Seats (change) Seat percentage
Democratic Party 204 -54 46.8%
Independents 1 +0 0.2%
Republican Party 230 +54 52.8%

You can make all the excuses you want, but fact is this country was exponentially better while Clinton was President. And don't give me the bullshit story about 9/11 happened to Bush. We were attacked under Clinton too, but we brought the terrorists to justice without sending our country and the world into a tailspin. Clinton would have taken out Afghanistan, but he wouldn't have turned around and distracted us by attacking Iraq. Iraq was never a threat to the US and was hardly a threat to our allies.

I admire Clinton because he has earned his way to the top with hard work and god given talent. Bush was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He basically admits he became an adult on his 40th birthday when he decided to quit drinking (and probably drugs). B/c of his priveleged upbringing, he lacks the personal character necessary to be an effective leader. It's clear that he doesn't understand sacrifice. He thinks we can fight a war on two fronts and cut taxes. I regret that we didn't get our balanced budget ammendment back before the republicans because fiscal liberals. His only supporters are the corporate scumbags who have him in their back pocket and ignorant rednecks who hate democrats b/c the tv or radio tells them too.

But at least Bush's daughters are prettier

^ Just wait until you get out of school with a degree makin' some money. I am sure you are going to love to know that your increased tax money under democrats will be used mainly to support african american children, many of which are raised to think that you owe them everything.

Welp, I have just come to the conclusion that George Bush is in fact the worst President we have ever had. Not even Carter was this evil. He is going to subsidize reconstruction! As if people were not going to rebuild without it! It is expensive, wasteful, idiotic, and down right unAmerican.

I always knew George Bush was a bad Republican, but he is worse than the President of France!

Cut spending somewhere! We are currently experiencing a prolonged economic expansion, there is NO excuse for deficits in excess of 4% GDP! And the current deficit is 3.8% and climing! Any higher and we are putting future generations in the hole! Why are only 20 house republicans standing up to this guy?!?!

None, but you know as well as I what their parents and the black culture in general tells them.

On a side note, how many have you witnessed being raised? Can you prove that its not happening?

Actually, I do know. I am from one of the poorest counties in NC, and went to a high school that was about 40/40/20 white/black/other. I grew up with many of them, and I have seen first hand what goes on. Believe me, all the tax money in the world could not change some of their minds.

^^change their minds about what? that "we" owe "them" everything?

growing up in a poor county in the south does not make you an authority on how black people raise their children. In fact, I would be inclined to believe that it would instill certain stereotypes in you (such as "black people think we owe them everything").
