it should have its own thread any IMO. Provided palm doesn't fuck up something big on this it should be a great phone. Too bad it won't be out till early '06. Apparently verizon has a decent period of exclusivity on this guy. 9/26/2005 2:03:06 PM |

AAAAAAAAH WHY ARE THOSE FUCKERS USING WINDOWS
Quote : | "but it ain’t called the Treo 670 anymore (if it even ever was called that), it’s the Treo 700w (which implies—but doesn’t guarantee—the existence of a Palm-powered Treo 700p)" |
you fuckin better, palm, or i'm going to castrate you all
however, gg on finally allowing a treo to use a wifi card. jesus.
if i wanted a windows mobile phone, btw, it would be this one http://www.phonescoop.com/news/item.php?n=1299

no. the treo didn't have drivers. this guy shadowmite hacked some drivers out that let you use an sd wifi card, but you had to hard reset the device afterwards to use your cellular network connection again.
they just released this "sled" thing froma company called enfora, I think, that makes the treo like twice its current size and lets you have wifi, but when there is a wifi sd card out there taunting you, that's hardly acceptable.
I don't personally care, because I have unlimited data with sprint, but fuck
however, another plus of windows mobile - they have a skype client. so, new treo + wifi + skype... pretty cool

I got my 600 for free, but I got the 300 as a gift. Every Treo I've owned has had countless software and hardware issues--it's really unbelievable how many. I've had 3 600's in a year. I just got my last one a week ago. They are really cool device in the range of things you can do with them (mp3s, aim, phone) but they need to increase their quality an order of magnitude or so. 9/26/2005 5:50:31 PM |

Quote : | "While we’re on the rumor tip, we might as well put it out there that unnamed sources are confirming both a new Palm-based Treo (the 700p?) as well as the much more intriguing Symbian-based Treo for both GSM and CDMA networks. Gadgets on the Go is citing a “very reliable source” (Jeff Hawkins, perhaps?) in reporting that Palm is indeed hard at work on a next-gen Treo that will rock the Symbian OS, giving them something of a Triple Crown in supporting mobile operating systems. No more information is currently available, but as usual, we’ll be covering this juicy little nugget until we’re actually clutching a Series 90 Treo in a warm, loving embrace." |

why would anyone WANT a symbian treo if there is already a 'doze version. 10/12/2005 1:25:40 PM |
