fucking awesome band.


buy their 2 albums, now.

anyone into technical death MUST check them out...i could rant forever about them, but it would take less time to order their albums online than it would to read all that i would have to say

(don't bother going to schoolkids...i had to place an order to get their 2nd album which i've had for a couple weeks now, and just picked up their first one from the store today which was all they had)

INSANE riffs in weird and constantly changing times, ridiculously skilled guitarists (solos are all shredding and sweeping), a bassist that shreds and can pretty much keep up with the guitars, and a blindingly fast and brutal drummer (on the second album, drums on first are programmed but still heavy as fuck). the vocalist (also the band "head" and plays lead) has an awesome growl, but that's pretty much all he does (not too much variation; doesnt detract from their sound, just doesnt add much)

anyway, no questions, get this stuff. it's not exactly emotional or heart-felt (though there is a definite classical influence to their soloing), but that's not what one looks for on the technical side of things. if you want some heavy but incredibly skilled shit, get this. crazy shit to come out of germany, didnt know they had it in them.

I LOVE this band, and have for a good while now. Go see them at Maryland Death Fest IV next May. I will be there.
