supposedly hurley ends up in the hatch, he's doing some task in there and having a hard time with it. i'm thinking he is now in charge of punching in the numbers like Desmond does

he has a hard time because he has to see the numbers all the time......he can't get away from them.

I was reading on the lost forums, someone speculated that Locke may still be the one Desmond is looking for based on how fast Desmond let Locke go with him instead... Wasn't the box company that Locke worked at owned by Hurley... perhaps Hurley also owns the company that has the logo on the shark and such, maybe theres a link there. Anyone have the episode that focused on Hurley winning the lottery, do they ever mention him owning a medical company or something? Also, Locke to me seemed to be portrayed as being evil in the beginning of the show, I wouldn't be suprised if he was still, something doesn't seem right about him, as well as the fact that he would make a good rival for Jack based on science/faith.

Look so spoilers I just heard.... Hurley dies while doing his job (manning the numbers under the hatch). When he dies th numbers hit 0 and all the hatches open, causing people to steal the apollo candybars and ipods. Then the crazy slave who is an other lets jack go free ad he rescues michelle rodriquez and they make babies then the series is over. and i love lost like i love black chicks. i.e. not much.

ok can anyone watch the scene from season 1 where Hurley goes to the pysche ward to visit the guy that repeats the numbers......i think that guy asks about the snowman

apparantly, from what i'm reading, the guy in the psyche ward was the guy who Desmond relieved in the hatch.....but when the crazy guy was relieved he was well, crazy, from lack of sleep and repeats the numbers over and over again
