I saw one on I-40 the other day. I drove up to it to try to get a picture with the cell phone and the dude slammed on the brakes. He came to a complete stop, floored it, and passed me doing RIDICULOUS speeds.

It accelerated quite rapidly. Sounded good too.

Fastest as in quickest, and not necessarily top speed, right?

Anyway, quickest I have seen would be the SLR (on the street) (and i guess not on the street also, as I don't recall seeing something quicker from 0-60 than 3.6 seconds in a showroom).

OH SHIT

Just remembered, I was next to a Ford GT at a stoplight a few months back!!!

0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds... definitely the quickest.
